Sit in the front seat and watch the road. The reason it happens is a discrepancy between what you're seeing, and the actual motion your body feels. Ginger soothes a sour belly.

P.S. Dramamine works, but it makes you drowsy. Also try pretzels or gum, and fresh air is always good.

You have to be smoother with the clutch. Work on the position of the foot when you are operating the clutch, so that you can control the release of the clutch better. You can place ur heel on the floor of the car and try to operate the clutch, slide the foot on the pedal. If the foot is not too small, you should be able to do a better job. If you are able to do it......then while you are releasing the clutch, you feel the car has just started moving, release it little slower. In time you will operate it like a pro. Placing the whole foot on the clutch and releasing it all of a sudden causes jerks.

You got a funny and very good advices from your answerer's. I will just add what they said. Get some warm to drink for your stomach like coffee before your trip! You can take that medicine from the Pharmacists' advice and maybe take it 1 hour before your trip/travel, take any mint candies that you like that you can suck/chew while on trip, seat by the window to get fresh air and the more long hours you will travel all the time is the more you will use of it and no more car sick.

As do I. Have you ever tried "dramamine?"

It helped me a lot. You take it about an hour before you go on a long car ride. I heard benadryl also works too.. but I stick with the dramamine on those occasions. You can also ask your local pharmacist for her opinion.

Ride in the front passenger seat, and keep your eyes on the horizon at all times.
