i weigh 125, and i`m 13. Is that bad, or "OMG! You`re gonna have a heart attack when you`re 30!" bad, or just a little above average.
AND
if you have any tips on how to lose about 8 pounds by the end of Febuary, please tell me.
but don`t just say "diet and exercise"...be more descriptive.

How tall are you? If you are under 5 feet tall you may be a little overweight. I say may because it still depends upon your body build and the proportion of body fat to lean muscle mass. The height/weight chart on this site can give you an idea of what you should weigh. My instinct is that you are not overweight. To lose 5-10 pounds in one month drink 8 glasses of water daily. Eat 5 fruit and 5 vegetables a day. Do aerobic exercises like dancing, running or walking 30 minutes daily for 2 weeks and 40 minutes daily for 2 weeks. You can split the exercise into 2 sessions if you like. Eat whatever else you want except fried foods and sugar.

You are about 8 pounds from 'average' but you are in a range- (106-128).

It would be better to find out what your body fat %% is.

How to lose 8 pounds? A pound is 3500 calories to lose 2 pounds a week you would have to use up or give up 1000 calories a day. You didn't say what you generally eat during the day so I can't comment on where you release these calories. 1000 calories is about a big mac, fries, and soda.

you should just be happy with the way your body is.
that is not a terible amount for a girl of your age i am going to be 13 soon an di am a boy i way 103 so for a girl that is fine.
if you want to loose wait just try not to eat to much i watch a tv show that said taller you are the more you need to eat. do a bit of excercise but dont over do it or all you will do is change the fat into muscle that weights like the same but is harder to lose. and finaly dont think you are fat thing curvey curves are sexy. and if you have big boobs and can give a good hump then its ok it dont matter bout the rest of you body.

Really it's all about how you feel. But here's a diet plan that worked for me (obviously, I felt fat :) )

Morning:
1 egg, 1 yogurt, 2 low fat waffles w/ 1 tbls of low fat syrup

Snack:
2 slices of wheat bread, 1 tbls of low fat peanut butter

Lunch:
2 slices of wheat bread, 7 slices of chicken, 1 cup of lettuce, 1 tbls of low fat mayonese

Dinner:
4 oz salad w/ 2 tbls of ranch dressing (lightly), 1 cup packed white rice, 4.5 oz grilled chicken w/ your choice condemint (lightly)

You can write to ask me why this works if you want.
And if you decide to do this work out (jogging, crunches, or weight lifting, ect. Your choice) for ATLEAST 30-45 mins.

P.S. this may not sound like a lot of food but it is. people will see you eat this look at you and say "huh?" lol. plus 125 is not bad. my sis is 129 and well, im so jealous. i ONLY put this on here because you said you wanted to lose 8 lbs.

Please for your age it's just right. I am also 13 yrs. old and my weight higher that yours. I am 135 pounds. You can be healthy but still have a weight in 100 pounds by just eating healthy foods. you don't have to worry because you are still young. i don't even worry because i eat the right food and i can still run as fast as i can. as a tip, don't stay up late at night, don't stay in bed all day and never force yourself to eat little amounts of food every meal yet you eat almost every 30 minutes. Relax and just stay active to physical activities. believe me that's what i do which made me this heavy. follow my tips and it will all be better but for a long time. have a nice day. and one last thing, NEVER LISTEN TO WHAT OTHERS SAY ABOUT YOUR WEIGHT...

125 doesn't sound bad unless you're real short. Odds are you know if you could be considered "fat".

At 13, I think you have at least a few years to go before you need to really worry about it. I say that because your body is changing at a rapid pace. In a few years you may barely recognize yourself, without taking any action to alter your appearance.

Well, i think ur not overweight, but, losing a few pounds wont hurt.
A really good way of losing at least 2 to 3 pounds is drinking a lot of water. Hope i helped!

I believe you are at a perfect weight! I work out so hard to reach that weight goal. Second of all, don't let your insecurity get the best of you...you need to stop worrying about your weight and enjoy what life has to offer. If you want to stay healthy then just eat better like veggies, snacks, and proteins...and walk or do some crunches from time to time....but stop obsessing if you are overweight! Please! You are at a perfect weight.

your 13 your still growing give it time you may grow taller and 125 is not that big unless you are a foot shorter
dont worry about your weight
eat healthy foods and exercises (cardio and some weight lifting) you'll be fine you dont need to loose weight

No, thats not a bad weight!You probably don't need to lose any weight at all, but sinse you want to you could try the special k diet.
