I would suggest getting more to the point. Ask him out. If he DOES have a gf he will be flattered that you asked. And if he doesn't...well you just killed two birds with one stone. Go get 'em.

Ask him, and tell him your "friend" wants to know. If he asks whos your friend, say something that will make him really wonder and think about who it is.
Or on the other hand, you can just get someone else to ask him and he`ll most likely tell them.

Start talking about dances or something. Like "Oh yeah last year at homecoming I brought my friend bla bla bla. I had a blast bla bla bla. Did you like it? Who did you bring?"
And when he says her name you say "Oh is that your girlfriend?"
That's usually the trick I use. Try taking conversation starters like that and using it to ask if he has a girlfriend.

I did this once it wasn't fun but I asked him out and he said he had a gf but in your case you can just ask him or ask one of his Best friends k k bye-bye

hello emma. it may sound a bit vain, but talk about yourself for a bit. if he isnt the type who is confident, ask him about himself after. make sure you dont talk for too long and bore him. hope this helped

it will not take you long to find out .besides ? if he has a girlfriend ? you will see him with her , unless you absolutely just met him ?

I think you are worrying too much.
Just ask him! The next time you are talking to him just say, " what is your girlfriends name? "
