Why does everyone look at what the person looks like and not whats in the inside?

you are hanging out with the wrong people if thats whats happening in your life.
change your friends, and you might meet people wth more depth to them.
it is what is on the inside that counts, dont let the ones that arent as mature get you down. stay with what you know to be true and you'll attract the same, likeminded people into your life.

People are lazy and in a hurry so the first thing they see is the physical person standing in front of them. That is only part of a first impression, though. If someone is laughing, smiling, being animated (talking with their hands, arms, using their whole body to communicate) they are more attractive and that is also part of the whole first impression. Once someone sees a little bit of what you seem to be like, and they like it, then they'll pursue you and what they continue to learn from that point on is either going to draw them in closer or push them away farther. That's the dating and getting to know one another phase. But you're right, first impressions are big so make it more than just a standing still thing, always look FUN and act FUN and your first impression you give out will be so much more!

Because you are not transparent. The outside is easy to tell. To know the inside, one has to learn from what you do and what you say. Even in job interviews, you are told that you have to let the interviewer know who you are within 1-3 minutes.

You want someone who will appreciate you for YOU and not just a cute thing to stand beside. If they want cute tell them to go buy a teddy bear and carry it around with them to show off.

it's how people are now a days..no one really appreciates one another for who they are or what they do but rather how they appear...no one can really change that..there are a few out there that know what's beautiful in the inside of a person but finding those few people is so difficult...hope that i cud help

I don't at all. I always look at guy's personality's and not their looks. Beauty is only skin deep. No one stays good looking forever. But their personality will last a lifetime.

I totally understand what you mean.......People are stuck up and dont want nothing to do with you unless u fit in there "handson,goodlooking" lifestyle.....I think that people just do it to fit in....they would rather look good with someone who looks good then make them selfs not acceptable to others because they are seen with the "ugly" person...Very rude and not concedarate.buts that how people are these days....
