1) My Front Window defroster is REALLY SLLLLOOOWWWW
2) When the tempurature is below 32, my rear sliding doors will not open (they are not electiric doors)

Does anyone else have this problem?

Ok, I used WD40 on the doors today, we will see if it works.
As for the defroster, my heater works fine and so does my AC.

I would suggest checking out the Nissan Online Mechanic section of
http://forums.nicoclub.com

Other people are bound to have the same problems. You might also call your local Nissan dealership to see if there are any Technical Service Bulletins for these problems.

My family had a 1993, and loved it better than any other van on the road for about 7 years.... in regards to the sliding side doors, i'd try to "LUBRICATE"them with some WD-40 or a similar product...spray on all hinges, locks, and railings so that the entire areas used to open and close are well "LUBED" this should help in any weather... as for the front windsheild defroster, im have no answer of suggestions.

Best wishes,..."Enjoy Your Ride"

The defroster issue could be caused from several issues such as blower relay, heater core, thermostat, etc... You'll probably need a mechanic for that issue.
To correct the door issue, buy a spray can of WD-40 and apply it to the sliding tracks on the doors and body and also to the lock mechanism. This will prevent them from freezing when it gets very cold

Defroster works better when A/C is on, in the hot temperature setting, sometimes it does come on automatically or you may have to manually turn it on. It may be that your thermostat is getting tired and due for replacement, causing your coolant temperature not to get as hot as it should. If the doors are sticking to the weather stripping you can spray all the rubber surfaces with a silicone spray.
