We booked our other excursions for Grand Cayman and Costa Maya, but we didnt like any that were online for Freeport. Any Sug? on what to do when we get off the boat? There are 5 of us, mid 20's, and none of us have ever been. Mainly there from 7:00a.m. to 3 p.m.

Unfortunately Freeport doesn't offer quite as much as some other ports do. However, there is still some stuff do, but you don't necessarily need to do a shore excursion. Here a few ideas.

Lucaya has problem the most popular marketplace in Freeport and actually has caused many of the other shops to close over the years. They have tons of shops, boutiques, a few restaurants, and if you are able to stay long enough they offer entertainment later in the evening. There are also two big hotels in Lucaya, if you enjoy looking at hotels it can be fun, but for mid-20s probably not the best choice. They have a pretty nice golf course at the resort. I really enjoy the beaches in Lucaya, you can rent some water craft and have fun that way as well.

Also in Lucaya is the Isle of Capri Casino if you enjoy gambling.

There is a place called Paradise Cove at Deadman's Reef where you can snorkel to see the reef and some other pretty interesting things. It is on the west end of the island.

My suggestion would be to check out a company called Unexso, they offer swimming and diving excursions with the dolphins, it is really great.

I also highly recommend the Lucayan Nation Park, there is a ton to see, you could probably spend your whole day there. They have caves, hiking, beaches, etc. It is really great.

Since you are in your 20s the best beach for you is probably Lucayan beach, it is known mostly for parties and recreation. They have bars, water equipment, food, everything, plus it is buy the hotels so you have a ton of stuff to do there as well.

Mather Town Beach is also good for the younger crowd, but not quite as good Lucayan. Likewise the Taino Beach is popular, especially for families and people looking for the calmer waters, but when I went there were too many people and a lot of kids, so it wasn't quite as much fun.

Finally you have the Gold Rock Beach, one of my favorites to just layout and relax. It is actually in the Lucayan Park, so if you go over there it is a nice way to end the day. It is really quite and peaceful. The only problem is you need to bring your own food and things. Also, if you want to jet ski and things like that, I would just go to Lucayan!

Have a great time, those are three really great ports, you will have a blast!

One big word is NOROVIRUS. The Liberty has been hit with it several times. It is terriblely contagious.
