You know it can't be that simple with some people. They always have to try and find a way to get around the rules. I swear and this is no exaggeration we could go into 2nd or 3rd grade and point out some future troublemakers and drug addicts...
I know it seems harsh and I never did resolve whether it was they became troublemakers and dopers from the way they look, or if they look that way because they became troublemkers and dopers.
If you go to any registered sex offender website, most of them look like "child molestors". Try it yourself, see if I'm wrong.. Then realize it is an uncanny coincidence at the least.
Man, if your kid is headed for trouble, do something now! Most kids don't need a best friend as a parent, they need authority and limits.
You see things in Europe that never would go in America like voluntary compliance with buying tickets for mass transit. In Germany there aren't a bunch of people checking your tickets, they just obey the law.
Maybe if some people here would follow the rules this country could be great again...
I hope someday we regain a respect for the law instead of the whole "get over on the man" thing that goes on now..

I think a lot of the questions spawn because of uncertainty where the law actually stands on a particular issue. Some people are also trying to be rebellious and the law is "the man" and cops are the "the man's" thugs. It's crazy I know, but my philosophy is that if you live a decent and straight life the law rarely gets in your way. Most laws actually prohibit things that have always been unethical, immoral, hurtful, or damaging in some way.
Societies have always had criminals. Criminals are those who just violate the restrictions society has set upon itself and they are never going to go away.
However, I agree that they should just obey the law and life will be much better for them.

Simple, cause the 97 percent of the population is regulated by the remainder 3 percent.
And you have fat, lazy asses creating such laws. One thing to remember is is that the government will always be an exception.
There is never a law I have seen where the government has to actually obey by! The law really is to just sqweeze the law abidding citizen and let the criminal go.
Examples: Drug stings, Cops that sell drugs are going against the very law that they are trying to adminstrate
Ex: Gun Control: Since you have Individuals that go to school shooting people they raise the limit and in the future no innocent victims can protect themselves.
Ex: If a kid out of a million uses a drug and gets killed, that drug will be banned to all those who used it wisely ( medical reasons or for depression etc ).
The government ( globally actually ) is just trying to take away peoples rights in the name of personal welfare.

You will always have the few who want to buck the system and test the waters and try and get something for nothing. Plus its a lot easier to do bad than to do good. But if not for the criminals, I would be unemployed and my 4 legged partners (yes, I have several), would not have any one to play "chew toy" with, and there is no fun in that. But true, people should learn to obey and respect more,,??

A very astute observation.
In law enforcement, we deal with a wide variety of different backgrounds. From professional to professional thugs!
Law enforcement works with the tools that society and the laws allow us which often times makes us the "bad guys" when in reality we only represent the people who expect those laws to be enforced!
The majority of our work involves repeat offenders who would just rather continue their life in the "fast lane" confronting law enforcement instead of doing the right thing!
Some would rather take the "easy way out" than earn the "fruits of the efforts."
Kinda sad but none the less...
Hang in there!
Best wishes!

common. If it did not, then there does no longer be the prospect for state-of-the-paintings platforms and beings like us to conform and exist interior of it, so there does no longer be everyone round to ask the question, "Why is our universe so random?". perhaps there is an unlimited set of universes with different regulations of physics, yet in common words a small type of those have smart and wide-spread adequate regulations for some thing complicated like us to conform. yet in a unique way of watching it: we are the way we are because the universe is how that is, no longer any opposite direction round.

Good question, and some good answers.
The answer from VASH speaks volumes as to his character.
Keep on fighting the good fight, the majority of people are decent, but like you said that are a few that always wanna be the system and cry when they get caught!

Because a great many laws have no justification to be imposed on a "free" people. In particular, those "crimes" for which there is NO VICTIM--drug use/sales, prostitution, gambling, etc.--these are just measures imposed by mostly religious-type zealots forcing their morality on those who don't go to their church, etc.
Some comdemn the below-referenced organization because it helps people avoid an arrest. But what about the laws that were intended to protect our rights to privacy? The "system" only enforces laws that benefit itself--the people be damned.
