The other one wasnt, but both are laying. One day there were 8 eggs. The next time I looked there were 3. This amount changes each day. Do they have a pouch or hold these eggs in them? Its weird.

how old are the eggs when they are about 4-5 days old very carefully hold them under a light if they are fertile you will see very faint red veins running through the eggs.keep them in a nesting box with the mums they will take about 3-4 to hatch they will be be bald born.

Hi there. Egg laying is stressful and requires more nutrients. Besides feeding them a pellet diet,10% fruits and veggies, 10% seed, add hard cooked egg with crumbled shell for the extra protein and calcium needed. They may have eaten the eggs if there is no other evidence. All seed diets lead to malnutrition. Some say that a good diet may help prevent egg binding that is lethal to many. They might continue to lay infertile eggs. You might try giving them 12 hours of darkness a day because light sometimes triggers egg production.May things improve soon and thank you for posting this.

The women human beings will nevertheless lay eggs they only isn't fertalized. i'd seem on the egg and see if apparently like it has some thing in it right here in some days. yet when one fowl is a male and ones a woman and they bred together, they egg will nevertheless hatch.

The eggs are probably shattered at the bottom of the cage if they are not in the nest. Thats where I found peices of shell and yolk in the past. The parents toss them out sometimes.
