Nothing could be less relevant to scripture than what Jesus looked like. I imagine He looked like most other people in that part of the world at that time, but that really doesn't matter. He came to save white, black, brown, yellow, and every other color.People around the world portray Jesus in the way that is natural to them. White churches envision a white Jesus. Christians in Asia envision an Asian-looking Jesus. I would imagine that Christian churches in Africa portray a black Jesus. I don't think Jesus cares what color you paint His pictures. He came to save us, not to pose for pictures.

You are correct, we have no idea what he looked like. Muslims believe that it is wrong to symbolize Alah or Muhhamad, coming from the Qu'ran. Jesus was born from a Jewish mother, so it would be accurate to say that he was of fair complexion.
In any case, I don't remember any passage in the bible saying it is wrong to portray Jesus. Unless you could come up with some argument about false idols. White as a superior race? If anything, I would think that since Jewish people are said to be his "chosen people" in the bible, that would benefit them more.
Wouldn't you think?

I think that if we are going to portray Jesus we should do it in a more realistic manner. We should make him look like a middle easterner - as that is the general area he was from. I think that the Blonde, blue eyed Jesus is wrong - on to many levels to count.

Yes, I suspect any images of Jesus as a blond haired, blue eyed, white man would be the work of a white supremacist. Common sense would tell us that Jesus looked much like any other Middle Eastern man - dark skin, hair and eyes.

-There is still no proof that Jesus indeed existed.
-If he existed, he was JEWISH, Blonde hair and blue eyes? What?
-White people indeed think that they are superior, and I dont blame us. I mean, other races get less money and are more susceptible to slavery, and I have never seen a single white slave.
-Jesus maybe was the son of god, but 1st, why would he be Isrealian? I think it was just another guy that wanted glory. Second, if he was isrealian, then HOW THE **** WOULD HE BE WHITE WITH BLONDE HAIR AND BLUE EYES! HE WASNT A ******* GERMAN, HE WAS A POOR ARAB-JEWISH!

People always want their deities to look like themselves. You are right no one knows exactly what Jesus of Nazareth looked like but given the area of the world he lived in one can surmise general features - olive skin, black hair, brown eyes.

What is bad is the way Jesus was portrayed as a saviour of sins. Jesus wanted enlightenment for us. He knew that salvation was absurd and unnecessary.

Check the bloodline of Christ
and you will know. By the way,
what race He struck that tent
of human flesh in is not important.
Is it?
