Well all you really have to do is ask him. I know I made that sound way too easy, but really that's what it comes down to, there is no way get around it. Get him alone in the hall when you see him and just start talking to him, and ask him "so (his name) are you going to the valentines dance?" regardless of his answer you should follow up with "well would you go with me?" (guys like it when girls ask them out its cute) and if he says yes then arrange the pick up and drop off situation (unless you just meet at the dance) As for the boyfriend thing just keep hanging out with him after the dance and go out on a date somewhere (if your allowed to I know i wasn't when i was in 7th grade) you could also just ask him out after the dance, because that's cool too. Well Good luck!!
Oh and congrats on the As

well sorry to say, but its sort of weird if a girl asks a guy out, but if you feel that strongly about him, then just say to him, "i've liked you for a while so i was wondering if you'll go to the dance with me?" then if he says yes, thats good. But then after the dance, he may think that that's it. so then say to him, "i've had a very fun time at the dance and i think we should get together sometime and maybe have a relationship." GOOD LUCK!!

Go up too and ask him. When was in seventh grade it really didn't matter who ask me to dance(as long as she wasn't weird or anything)And if he likes you when you ask him to dance it will be just that much better. And maybe while you are dancing you can ask him out.Good luck!!

Quickly and simply is the way to go.
When you're walking together or standing together and nobody is around just say" You going to the Valentine's dance with me "?
If he says yes ask whhat time does he want to pick you up/ meet you.
If he says no, say FINE!

Ask him if he has made plans to go to the dance and if he says no then ask him if he would be interested in going with you.

Before you do you might want to take him off of this pedestal that puts an awful lot of pressure on both of you.
Just ask him. NO need to be cute about it. If it he really likes you he'll go.

that is so hard.............. I am from the old school. so you don't want to hear what i think of women asking guys out.
Read boundaries in dating by john ma cloud should be required reading for all teenagers.
Ask him if he had plans to the dance.............Don't embarrass yourself. he might have plans............
This will open a door for him to ask you out.................hey I got straight a "s all through school and still enjoy men!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God I love emmmmmmmmmm.............................

Just talk to him. Better ask or someone else will and you will regret it for a time.
