try a fresh install.
http://www.limewire.com/ is the most used free file sharing site. make sure you have anti virus running before swapping any files. the free edition of avg available from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ does a good job. once you have installed limewire do a search for limewire pro. then install this and delete the original. pro is faster.

you mustn't be using Limewire. Limewire is nicely common for the quantity of viruses and secret agent ware that downloading archives from it include. briefly, Limewire is an rather risky web site to apply. hit upon a safer, option web site in case you want to receive track or any archives.

Delete it and then DON'T download it again. Then either buy your music via CDs in a shop or via a legal downloading site.

had the same problem on my parents computer, had to turn off parental gaurd on the computer before it would load.

Firewall, windows blocking it, other programs blocking it. Check to see.

delete it off you're computer then download it again.
