Go to your local tax assessors office where you get your registration renewed, and get an application for certified copy of title. Fill it out, mail it off with the (I want to say) 2.00 enclosed, and you'll receive a new title in the mail.

Not sure but I'd go to your state's division of motor vehicles and tell them you've lost your title. They will tell you what you need to do to get another title.

depending on what state you live in ,most of the time you can go to the office that sells the license plates ,and they can apply for you one and get it back while your waiting on it,i know Tennessee does this now,and so do other states ,it only cost me 4 bucks to get a duplicate of mine a while back, and took less than 10 minutes to do,you might want to try this though it would be faster than doing it by paper work, good luck,i hope this help,s.
