I hate windows vista it just isnt compatible with anything that i have, My microsoft visual studio.net, my pacman world, my call of duty, and this is older software and the manufacture prolly has already stopped supporting the software for a windows vista fix, is there anyone out there that can assist me with making some of my older windows applications capatiable with vista

It is odd you mention call of duty because this site states it as working fine.

i never knew vista was out already.

There will be emulators and backwards propegation before too long, so perhaps you can dual boot install (with another os) until then??

before I got worried about games I'd concentrate on closing the major security holes first.

It'll likely be a little while before things get running smoothly, but hack will be released in the next 6 months to a year with any luck to make it backwards propagatable.

I'm suprised with the 5 or so years of development time they couldn't figure out how to include a 'run as Windows OS (dos, 3.1, 95,98, NT, 2000, ME, xp, 2003___' feature

I can only geuss it is intentional so you will waste your money on new software as it wont be perhaps as pirated as much for the next while, which may result in you wasting you money on vista software, which microsoft likely has a programing edge on right now.

From what I hear, you're out of luck.
We never upgrade until service pack 2. Always too many bugs in the early releases.
