A judgement will be against me for a creditor I owe and the amount is about 2290 plus costs they said. and they want the full amount. what will happen if you do not have it to give? I tried to do a payment arrangement with them that I could afford. but, it was not acceptable. I do not have any assets, property or anything they can take. we were going to court in March now they decided to enter a motion for a judgement without trial. can someone please explain what a judgement is? what its all about?
what it means? and what can happen for me? Thank you anyone who can help me out.

If the court orders a judgement, the person winning the judgement expects to collect that amount.
If it is not paid, then they can ask for liens against property or garnishment of wages. That will be a separate court action. If the court authorizes garnishment then your employer is served with papers and is required to deduct from your wages (probably in payments) or lien is placed on property, and cannot be sold until the lien is cleared (or will be taken as part of the sale)
