well, im in high school, and i think i like this girl, but she's really shy, i dont even know if i wanna date her, just maybe friends, but i dont know how to connect with her when shes so shy

You'll have to get her to open up to you first. Don't do it all at once, smiling at her when you see her, maybe an occasional "hey" or "what's up" will help you get into the door. Eventually you can open up a conversation with her (about something you'll both have an opinion about). Be honest with her. If she loves homecoming and you hate the idea of school dances, let her know (at least she won't feel like you're agreeing just to agree.) Invite her over when your parents are home for a study session (or invite her to go to the library with you) if you both have the same classes. Sit next to her in lunch and offer her some of your food (if there's a particular food she likes, offer that.) You could also try talking to her friends first, just to get to know her "crowd". (But don't use them as a mailing system, if you want to know if she likes you, approach her. There's no worse a feeling than being the last to know when someone likes you.)

Well she is the shy one so why dont you go sit next to her and talk to her? If she is in one of your classes just go over and start talking to her (talk about the class if you have nothing to say) (oh and dont do this during class my teachers would pimp slap me if i did). You could also catch her eye from across the room, but that would send off the (i like you vibe). Im sure she would love to have someone to talk to especially if she is alone! so go over and chat it up. Good luck

im in high school myself and 9 times out of 10 shy people are loud around people they know so just gradually make casual talk then become friends and try to get to know her then you will know if shes the kind of girl you want to date

well, u r so lucky to find such a girl . try to talk wz her friendly then u can tell her about ur feelings .but take ur time don't push her to do some thing she didn't use to . let her touch ur feelings .

Try talking to her. You will get to know her better. If you like her enough, try to help her out of her shell. You will come to realize something about shy women. I can't tell you, but you'll learn.

hahaha. maybe she's shy because she likes you. you don't know much about her. if you do like, make sure she knows that you like her, if ur 2 friendly, she'll think ur just a friend. nothing can develop once she thinks that ur just a friend.

watch her and see what she likes. then just walk up and ask her a question about it. dont be loud or overpowering in your approach. she will either answer you or walk off. if she walks off she is not interested.
