I am trying to come up with something cute and simple for wedding favors. My wedding colors are pink and silver. I saw some inexpensive circle silver containers. But what to put in them besides the same ol' mints, almonds, bla bla etc. Or does anyone have any other ideas or websites that have good ideas on making them? Let me know! Thanks :)

I am doing a candy buffet, guests love it and it will only cost about $150 ( for 100 guest). Just go to a candy store pick out about 6-8 different kinds of candy ( get it in bulk) or you can get it from Sam's club or party city, then get large plastic containers in different colors and/or sizes to put the candy in, get candy scoops from the dollar store and pink favor bags. Set all the candy up on a table , put the bags in a cute little basket and put a sign above the table saying something like "fill up a bag and take it home because love is sweet"

Good Luck!

You can get Personalized Hershey Kisses...they're already in silver...the little tags are what gets personalized. With Valentines day coming, they'll also have them in pink just in the stores...I've not checked but you MAY be able to customize the foil wrapper colors as well to where you could get both pink and silver kisses. Tie them up in some cute little pink organza bags w/a silver ribbon.

You could always make your own chocolate candy in white and or pink chocolate using heart, dove or wedding bell candy molds. You can present them in either little organza bags, wrapped in netting, the little boxes you found or even pink mini chinese food container boxes...I've seen those used at weddings and they look really cute!

There's always Strawberry creamsavers if you're wedding is more towards the spring...but it would be a light sweet treat that will also hold up in any temperature,

Now is the PERFECT time to find things in your theme colors with Valentines day on it's way. IF your wedding is after that holiday it will be even better...CLEARANCE!!!!

Hopefully I was able to give you some ideas...

Those are pretty colors. I don't know if you have a theme for your wedding or not (not necessary, by the way) but you could give out little "thank-you" announcements with your names and wedding date, printed on pink paper and tied with silver ribbon or tulle or those little silver wedding rings. Or you could do tea light candles wrapped in pink tulle and tied with silver curling ribbon. They are both really inexpensive. You can use one piece of paper for two announcements and tea light candles come in bags of 50 or 100 for between $2 and $6 usually. Good luck!

There are tons of websites out there that I've found with cute and inexpensive favor ideas. One idea that I particularly liked (because it's so different) is tea bags with personalized tags on them. You can buy any kind of tea bags you like and order tags (from just about any wedding favor website or store) and tie them on yourself. They're really cute and useful!

Personalized white and silver M&M's. That's what I am doing except I am putting them in this.

My colors are brown and pink though. The personalized M&M's are kind of expensive but since it is Valentine's Day I bought a bunch of bags of the pink and white M&M's and I am going to mix them to save on the cost. And I am going to add brown too.

Whatever you do,keep it consumable. I usually toss all the little containers, shot glasses, votive candles, etc., etc., etc., so you might even want to use like the little containers that look like Chinese take out containers (you can get them at any craft store) and paint them, or glue decorative papers on them--look in the scrapbook section for tons of ideas. Whatever you decide, keep it simple. As far as what to put in them, you can get personalized M&M's, here's a link...http://www.mymms.com/customprint/

I had personalized white leather bookmarks, with our names, and date of the wedding. People loved them. I talked to someone last week and they still had theirs and it was 13 years ago.

try leaving a donotion to a local charity or shelter with the money you would spend on gifts for people. they type a written letter and tie it with a bow explaining your donation.
