The idle on these vehicles are computer controled using Throttle position sensor singnal to activate Iac Idle air control.The screw on the TB is not made to adjust idle.It,s awhat the call a Hard stop so the car does nbot stall when throttle closes Alot of times it will have locktight on the treads to stop it from behing turned .Get it checked to see if there is a problem with your idle

Check for an idle adjustment screw on the throttle plate. If you find one, turn it clockwise. This will idle your speed up a little. If it isn't on the throttle plate, check on the cable itself...it may have one.

yes you can it does have an idle stop screw on it,or sometimes called a rest screw ,it may have a plug in it ,and you may have to drill it out to get to the screw ,but it can be done,over the years the stop plate wears a little ,and sometimes you have to adjust them,even though the factory says no adjustment is necessary,sometimes you have to do this to get them to idle right,,yours may no have the plug in it,you might be able to just get to it the easy way,good luck,i hope this help,s.

the only way you can adjust it is throguh a computer programmer....check around, find someone who is good at computers and have them raise the idle up !!..good luck...there is no manual way to do it !!!...only through the computer

yes you can there is a half noon looking thing and a cable //there are two nuts on the cable loosen them and tighten outside nut then adjust then tighten inside nut
