You would rather it said "It was so wonderful seeing you and being with you again!"? You should be asking your husband this if you couldn't figure it out, but It is obvious he ran into her and blew her off. You should be glad. And I hope your husband knows you read his e-mail, or you may just be his new ex-wife.

It sounds like he did the right thing, and distanced himself from her... he's trying to keep that up because he knows she can be trouble. Applaud him - he's possibly the last honest man in the world!
You could just mention you noticed an email from her (don't say you read it, but if he asks, don't lie) - and just generally say you're glad he managed to make a clean break from her. He's probably found it hard to stay out of touch after all this time, so be proud of him - and remind him how good life is as it is now ;)
Good luck with your kind and lovely man!

If your husband shares the email with you then you might suggest he either block her or change his address. Be happy he gave her the cold shoulder. You say she has caused problems in the passed, that's why he gave it to her. He doesn't want anything to do with her. It isn't his fault if he ran into her by accident. Nice to know that he wasn't alone isn't it.

Sounds like your husband is letting the past stay with the past. Especially if she mentioned, "the cold shoulder" treatment. I don't think you have anything to worry about. She could still be hung up on him after all of these years, but, I don't think he feels the same way. Just remember, you have your husband and she doesn't. Laugh about it!!!!!

If she has "made problems for him in his last marriage" he probably really IS giving her the cold shoulder.. . can't blame him. Experience is the best teacher. He is all yours girl! My ex tried to cause me problems everytime I got a new relationship going but I gave him the cold shoulder and he finally got the hint and backed off. I wouldn't let him know about the invasion of privacy but I wouldn't keep doing it either.

Well have you asked hinm about it? It really just sounds like she is desperate and trying to get him to recognize her. Obviously they didn't speek alot or she would not have asked how are you doing. He must love you more because if I saw my x-lover somewhere and I still had feelings I would strike up a big conversation with him. You shouldn't really be worried about this. Hope I could help a little bit.

Maybe he loves you so much that he did give her the cold shoulder so she wouldnt cause problems with the two of you. Now she is trying to cause problems anyways.

It really sounds like he did the right thing. He obviously wasn't very friendly with her.
Keep checking the emails and if you find another (like she is REALLY trying to get to him) Then reply to her email yourself.
Tell her to leave your husband alone.
