Both duvet cover and down comforter are the same size (full) but after a few days my comforter ends up in a ball inside the cover. It is a pain to fix it. The only way I can think of to fix it would be to sew the comforter in place. But that is a little more permanent than I was hoping for. Thank you!

You should be able to get small clips at the sewing goods store, made just for the purpose. Clip each corner of the cover to the comforter.

You could of course use safety pins and pin the comforter inside at each corner. But this could be risky so I have another idea:

Sew velcro inside the duvet cover at each corner and in the middles between each corner. Sew the opposing velcro piece to the comforter at the same places. This will do the trick, no matter what because even when you pull on velcro when moving around in your sleep or shaking it out, it'll stay put.

If you don't like that idea, you can sew small elastics at each corner of your comforter and in the middles and attach a button to the inside of the duvet cover at each place you put an elastic. Attach the elastics to the buttons and there' you have it!

Martha Stewart once had a show about this. Take a ribbon or shoe lace and sew it to the four corners of your comforter then, on the inside of the duvet, sew a ribbon or shoe lace to the four corners. Then, reinsert your comforter and tie, the comforter into place.

Hi, You can place stick on velcro on both duvet and inner, turn your duvet cover inside out and stick the velcro in several places including the corners, make sure you have both pieces of the velcro, then just place the inner on top and press down to make it stick, stick more velcro on the other side of the inner for the other side of the duvet cover to stick to. turn the cover back and press down again. I do this in the winter time when I stick the winter weight inner together with the summer weight inner to make it nice and cosy on those cold winter nights here in New Zealand.
