I am assuming that you want to study anesthesiology. Then you would have to go to medical school. First you need to get your 4 year bachelors degree, and go for another 4 years of medical school, and couple years of residency and internship. You can go to Yale university or any other university, as long as you get you bachelors degree to get to med school.

Anesthesiologists need to focus heavily on Chemistry, Biology, and Math.

Yale has a great Medical School - so yes, that would surely help! Don't be totally focused on one school. Different medical schools excel in different fields. The University of Arizona has an excellent medical school, as does Harvard, University of Michigan, and a dozen others.

My next suggestion is to go to your local hospital and ask to speak directly with an Anesthesiologist who would be helpful to a student. Talk with them about their experiences, education, and ask their advice. There is even a REMOTE possibility you could be allowed to job-shadow them during their duties. Speak with your High School counselor or Science Teacher and see if they can help set up such a meeting for you as that would increase your odds of success.

Good Luck!!

You want to become an Anesthesia... not an Anesthesiologist? I guess since both put people to sleep, there's not much difference!
