Download gom player as it has all the codecs built in and will play anything you throw at it.

is it because you need a password, or they just simply won't work. If it's the password there's usually information on how to get it. if it doesn't work I don;t know because that happens to me so if anyone else know's you'll be helping two people

i presume you're using windows. Have you got all the codecs installed to view them? if you're getting divx movies, go to www.divx.com and get the codecs there.
