The pain has been in the same spot the entire time. There is no bump, or a bite or anything. It is a throbbing pain, that sometimes goes away for an hour, but comes back. What could this be, and how do I get rid of it?

By your question I am guessing that this headache is out of character for you, or is different from headaches you have had before. This is nothing to guess about! Seek medical attention. If you would categorize it as "the worse headache I've ever had" you should go to the closest emergency department. The odds say that most headaches are benign processes, but until you get the appropriate attention/work up by a physician any on-line advise may cause an unfortunate delay in finding out what really is going on!

I assume you've tried Advil, & remedies over the counter? With me, I can't take Tylonol or pills of that sort because of the meds I
am already on but, I did find this roll for people in Canada at the Pharmacy called "HEAD ON" and one is Extra Strenth for headache pain, another for Migaine's. Please is you go ask the
Pharmasitant, which would be better for Period!

Hoping it goes away,

It could be a cluster headache. Try laying on an ice pack and see if that helps. You can try a heating pad as well.

If it continues for more than a week, by all means go to the doctor as there could be something more going on.

Check for carbon monoxide emissions... this could cause severe headaches before eventually killing you. If you have no gas heaters then don't worry...
You could also be suffering from a tumour so it would be wise to go and speak to your doctor about it. Dont let people guess, go get a proper consultation in case it is serious... If it isn't then there is no harm done... if it is then you have chance to do something about it...

I assume you've tried aspirin/tylenol/whatever....maybe a heating pad would help, but I'd think about calling a doctor.

without knowing how old you are, or your health history, you probably should get it checked out. could be nothing, or could be something very serious.
