Great question - it has really ilustrated how people aren't sure how we should get out...yet they are willing to say we should.
It's important to realize we need a plan, we CAN'T just pack up and leave because if we did that, it would NOT be over. I agree with the dems that this has been going on a long time, but I also think that we should support our chief and our troops in making a decision as to what is best - as far as what time and what strategy.
I am a common American citizen. I am no longer in the service and I am not in a position of power. I don't know all the intricacies of what is going on over there, so I am going to trust those we have elected - ALL of them, not just G.W. to develop and initiate a plan to get us out and keep us safe.

By winning the war. If we just leave we would be screwing over the Iraqi people. Iran already has a plan to take over the country in the case of a US pullout.
EDIT: So Kitty what happens when Iran has control of the Middle East and nukes Israel? Pulling out would prevent any Americans from dieing RIGHT NOW but it would cause a LOT more deaths in the near future. 3,000 plus Americans have died in Iraq, do you happen to know how many died in the two World Wars?

First move all troops out of the citys of Iraq and wait to see what happens if all is well leave the county but leave some military as back up for the Iraqies

I believe we should just quit fighting altogether ! obviously we forget the 3000 people who died just going to work on a Tuesday morning in 2001...we should let the terrorists just have the u.s.a. we are just a bunch of unfeeling Neanderthals you know...(sarcasm)OH and don't forget to Vote Liberal so we can accomplish this...

Do what the Middle East wanted in the first place. Full withdrawal of all our troops. And, let them kill each other.
We should take care of our country first and F the rest of the countries. We should go back and become an isolationist country again.
