Protein and complex carbohydrates are the best choices because they release slowly and will keep you feeling full longer. Of course you need fruits and veggies for the vitamins and minerals too.
I would suggest hearty meals like roast beef with mashed potato's salad, a veg of come sort and wheat rolls. Spaghetti made with whole wheat pasta and a meat sauce with salad and garlic bread. Chicken and dumplings etc. Mostly the comfort foods are filling.
If your looking for breakfast foods then things like sausage, bacon, eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy will stay with you for a long time too.
Good luck and hope this helped. Julz

When your body metabolizes food, it starts with the sugars, then the carbs, then the proteins, then the fats. So, if you eat something that is high in fat, you will stay full the longest. If you want a quick burst of energy, eat sugar. If you want a "balanced" meal, eat a little from all four, so that as one burns off, the next one starts to burn and continues to fuel your body.

It's best not to wait that long between meals, though. See if there's any way that you can take a healthy snack with you wherever you're going. String cheese would be a good choice - plus, it's easy to hide! :)

I'd go by the Food Pyramid, and make sure you get enough of what's on there for 1/2 a day to hold you over. Probably a lot of protein. You might even take Vitamins. This is a really long time between meals.

i actually only about under no circumstances get pizza further, so I wasn't particular what the massive-spread tipping fee develop into. interior the destiny, i am going to take it under consideration. yet, as someone above talked about, waitresses are tipped because they earn $3 an hour. education are figured into waitress's pay. shipping is only yet another minimum salary or above activity... there is not any longer extremely a reason that shipping human beings could get tipped anymore than the guy who chefs the pizza.

Eat an 'Extend Bar'. They were designed for diabetics to avoid night time blood sugar swings, but the result is that it can deliver sustained energy for a very long time. Their claim is up to 9 hours which might help curb your hunger as well.

I like a big deli sandwich. It's got protein, carbs, fat, veggies, cheese, meat, everything. One of those before a long flight can last me 8 hours at least.
