Yeh Carol P ......I'm a klutz....just noted the first day i found online which was 2014 he heee, what a plonker.
Emma C got it right first ....so its not in march then oops, i'm gonna miss my pancakes ...Shrove Tuesday (and Mardi Gras) will occur on the following dates in the following years:
2007 - February 20
2008 - February 5
2009 - February 24
2010 - February 16
2011 - March 8
2012 - February 21
2013 - February 12
2014 - March 4
2015 - February 17
2016 - February 9
2017 - February 28
2018 - February 13
2019 - March 5
but WHY does it change? (oops sorry, carry on everyone) All right then it's tomorrow........ sunday is as good a day as any to be munchin pancakes, who needs rules eh?

I've done my calculations - as Pancake Day is always 40 days before Easter, it's 27th February this year

any day is pancake day except [Emma h] feb 27 as that is my wedding anniversary so no one but me can have pancakes on that day with a good dollop of treacle on them ,so dont even think about it
