Have them give you an allowance in exchange for doing a few chores around the house.
I'm sure if you are willing to help them out they will help you out.

I'm a parent....outside of doing reg chores in the household (you are a member of the household too), so some chores should not be paid for. ie. If someone cooks someone else should clean up,or,its your room but, my house!...keep it clean!... its only fair....BUT, this is a big one to earn money at home. My son came to me with a coupon book that 'he' created (and 'we' added to) I had per-ma grin . It was chores that were not done on a reg basis. For example...bathe dog..5$ coupon, weed garden 3$coupon ( my hobby, however, willing to pay for help) wash windows, wash auto, use your creative powers to create coupons for chores outside the ordinary daily chores....you can earn money at home as long as your parents are open minded to it...and I would hope that they would appreciate your creativity by making a coupon book for unusual chores for pay...PS: a coupon for never having to ask for a hug that will never expire....

How old are you? How about doing yard work for neighbors? Walking dogs, shoveling snow(if you are in an area where you get snow)There are lots of thing you can do. My kids did that sort of thing. Walking around or riding your bike is good for you.
