I'd say both. The initial synthesis of a lie is the birth (fathering) of a lie.
I guess that means I think the chicken and the egg came at the same time.

I had an answer deleted this morning for merely suggesting that those who dwell of the failures of men, regarding them as the work of God, are on the path toward atheism or becoming agnostic.
To be clear while this is humorous, I don't condone the antagonizing of those of other thought.

The Bible is clear that angels were around to watch the creation. Atheism is a man made idea (as angels see God). So Satan was first.

human beings are MUCH older than that
early man was busy trying to figure out how to survive and what to eat. the religious profession only came about much later.
