Try elevating your body (support your legs with a low chair & rest them above your knees) so your body is straight on the start. This will take some of your body weight away. As you get stronger, slowly lessen the support (support your legs lower, maybe below the knees) & once you're ready, just drop your leg on the floor GIVE ME 20!

That's great that you can do it on your knees! Now, instead of doing it flat on the ground, place your feet on the ground, and your hands on a surface such as a couch or chair (something that's higher than the ground). The higher up you are, the easier it is to do the pushup! Gradually place your hands on lower surfaces (for instance, gradually go from a higher book shelf to a lower book shelf) until you're able to do it on the ground.

Good luck!

the reason you cant is because you have weak arms probably...no one in my gym class can do push ups either...its a lack of energy or just lack of arm mucsles so i suggest you work on exercising the mucsles in your arms and record the results...for example do some push ups like on monday...then work on exercising those arms the rest of the week till the next monday...that monday do more pushups...each week you do pushups record how many you can get through without feeling exhausted...you should see a gradual increase in the amount of pushups you can do...and if that doesnt work try eating more nutritious foods so you have enough energy...good luck!
