ok i told my friend i liked him. lets call him nick. i gave nick my phone # and he called and told me he liked me. so we both like each other and we r supposed to thioink about if we both want to try dating and i cant make up my mind. i want to date him cause if i ont then i will always wonder what would have hapend, but then i dont want to ruin our friendship. WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!?! thanks 4 helping me!!! :)

one date won't do any harm, even if you don't date him your frindship will not be same again as both of you told each other your feelings. but if you don't like the dating scene then just let him know. good luck ;)

If he knows you like him, it could hurt your friendship already. You should at least try. It will be awkward if you decide not to go out, but you know that you both like each other. If you`re still unsure, tell him this (or something like it):
"I really want to go out with you, but I don`t want to risk our friendship."
See what he says and maybe he can help you figure it out. He knows you better than anyone on this site.

I would say try a date and if you conect on that level then try it agian but move slow so then if it turns out that you two dont want to then it wont be that weird to go back to just friends!

relationship a chum would not inevitably smash a friendship. in fact it hardly happens. this is in basic terms t.v. drama. take a huge gamble or such as you stated, you will remorseful approximately it continuously. i think of you may particularly danger it then have a remorseful approximately, have faith me. as quickly as lower back, you will no longer smash your friendship. if it would not artwork out, it would not and you will a minimum of proceed being pals. this is the worst that would desire to take place (which it in all probability won't). decide for IT!!!

i say you take the risk i mean if it doesnt work out you can always ask him to just be friends but if he breaks up with you ask him sweetly if you guys can still be friendsthat is whats going on with my Ex bf and he realy understood that and we still go to the movies and every now and then give a good hugg but dont come on realy fast makeit a nice steady relationship =]

cant you just hang out like friends and see where the relationship goes from there why ya gotta rush into relationship friends are better any way they are more honest and relationships change things but only you can decide good luck

Talk to him-I bet he has the same concerns you do. I think you should try dating, because you like each other and after this (you telling him you like him and him telling you he likes you too), you'll hardly be the same friends.
