God doesn't want us all to be the same, and if you really think all Christians do, we obviously haven't met.

God wants us to live in harmony.

If you know about music, melody is when everyone sings the same words and same notes in the same rhythm. Harmony adds depth, variety and beauty to the song. There are times of discord where notes sound bad together but then the notes resolve to a beautiful blend of sound.

This is how God wants us to live. Working together, knowing that we will disagree but that we resolve our conflicts without loosing what makes us the unique creations he intended.

The idea that God wants us all to be the same is simply Religious Intolerance and a complete lack of knowledge in regards to history, culture, worldview and sociology. Almost all of the world's religions have abandoned this idea in favor of diversity as sign of God's creativity and differences in how each culture interprets God's Revelations, with the exception of some Christian Fundamentalist churches and Modern Islamic Theology in general.

This is a topic for a philosophical debate :D

so maybe youre better off asking it n the philosophy section.

My answer will be, where does it say we all have to be the same?

This is akin to loving someone. Every time you love someone the experience is different, but loyalty is loyalty and you cant question it by saying: hey, I love people by beating them up.

Our differences make up for the diversity of God's character. We are to be the same in His goodness.

Did God say that? I wonder where?

God only says to not do things that are 'bad' for everyone.

Who said he wants us to be all the same?

I would think he wants us all to 'act' the same in the ways that count - love, generosity, forgiveness, kindness, compassion, etc - but surely not to 'be' the same.
