left leg, we planed to go to karlovy vary in Aug 2007.but i dont know how long it take here to cure, and how mutch it cost me.thanks

Nobody knows how long it will take to heal. It is an individual thing and can take a very long time. All strokes are in the brain. the best you can do is try to prevent another one. See site below for foods that help prevent strokes according to the USDA. Be glad that she lived thru it.

I'm sorry about your wife....she will need physical therapy to help that left side move again...it could take 2-4 months before she get's fullmovement again...good luck and what is karlovy vary?

she will never be "cured." odds are she will have level of weakness in her hand.
i'd suggest going anyways, but make sure to talk to her doctor about the trip well ahead of time. and maybe buy trip insurance, too.
