weather all over the world is undergoing change & becoming warm very fast. this year it has not been cold the way it usually is in Europe. u in fact are going when its not going to be very cold. no need for thermals at all. just make sure u have one big overcoat & some head cover & gloves if u are not used to winters. the best way to combat winters is to dress in layers & not thick layers or u will roast as everywhere indoors is weather controlled. only when outdoors u need more protection. enjoy Italy, one of the most beautiful countries in the world.
