What's wrong with getting off your butt and getting a job like everyone else?

Get a job. Do whatever they tell you to do. Keep doing whatever they tell you to do, and then, you will earn their trust and respect. Then, they will give you whatever you need. But at this point, you'll probably not really need their help because you've got a job and your life will be on track, thanks to your parents. Listen to what they tell you because they just want you to be more than just a waste of space.
