You can buy the all-natural teething tablets at walmart or target near the pharmacy. It's a tiny little tablet that you hold on their gums with your finger and it disolves with their saliva. That's what we used for our son. You can't really over do it because they are all natural. Also, keep lots of different fun shaped teething rings in the freezer. You obviously don't want to over do it on the tylenol or motrin, but if it makes her feel more comfortable for the time being, especially if it helps her sleep better, there is nothing wrong with giving that to her. Sometimes we would alternate that with the teething tablets and between the two - it usually helped. Motrin also helps relieve the diaper rash associated with teething. I was always reluctant to use the orajel type stuff because I heard that it can actally toughen the gums and make it even harder for the teeth to push through. Good luck!

Great advice so far (Hylands teething tablets, frozen wash-clothes - you can also soak those in chamomile tea before you freeze) .. just wanted to add frozen waffles are a bit hit too.

Here in Mexico (this is NOT A SUGGESTION) but they use alchol (the drinking kind) and the small onions still on the stem for them to nibble on. DONT DO THIS, I find both options dangerous. I used teething rings, a frozen sock, would you use like baby oragel or anything like that?

DO NOT use alcohol. Thats very dangerous.
A frozen or wet washcloth, or Hylands teething tablets work best.
