She smashed the doll and her teacher moved it away from her path. She didn't have any deep feelings - only the feeling that the thing (the broken doll) was out of the way.
It refers to feelings she had before her "awakening" to language.

You need to find someone who speaks your language to help you with these. Please tell us what your native langauge is and maybe someone who speaks that language can help you.
