In cooking? Are you a messy cooker or a clean-as-you go cooker?

I am a "clean-as-you-go" cooker. I cannot stand a messy kitchen. It is really simple. Why let the pots and pans pile high? If as you cook, you wash and clean the utensils in between, your countertops will be clean by the time you are done with your cooking. If you allow things to pile up, pretty soon, you are daunted by the high pile, and you wouldn't want to tackle it anymore for the sheer anxiety of it.

So you are really better off washing and cleaning the utensils as you go along with your cooking.

I"m a clean-as-you-go cooker. If it's a meal where everything needs constant attention or everything is getting done at the same time then I get quite messy.

Messy for sure. My husband and I have a system. I love to cook and make a mess and he loves to eat , so he does the clean up. Works for me.!!

I am a disaster in the kitchen. My wife loves my cooking but hates my mess. She's a clean as you go and I am a leave it, I'll clean it up later type.

No decent chef cleans as he goes.He's too busy concentrating on what he's cooking.
Just because you're not clean as you go doesn't mean you're messy.
My pots/dishes or anything used for prep get neatly piled up in the sink and left until after the meal

I would like to say that I clean as I go, but it would be a bald faced lie. I am messy, but my food is oh so good
