how can i change windows media player back to my basic player?

Right mouse button click a file that Media Player would normally play - and select OPEN WITH. At that point it should list other media players on your computer... Select the one you want and then check the box that says "open all files like this with this software".... (something like that).

I think if you go to an audio/video file in your drive and choose "open with", you can pick media player and click the box that says something to the effect of "always open this type of file with..." or... something. Anyway, I have an older system, so... I dunno...

i dont know but there should be a real player on the computer
