It started growing on my hand few months ago and so far nothing has happened. But it is round in shape, dark brown in colour and a bumpy mole. Is it a sign of skin cancer or just a mole? Please be honest..thanks.

The only thing I wonder about is the bumpiness. If it's grown and stayed the same color and hasn't grown more or changed shape, it should be okay. Unfortunately I have a good number of them. But without a description of the bump: is it just one bump or actually bumpy? If it has bumps in it, I would have it checked out with your doctor.

Moles that are irregular in shape and color or black are especially prone to being cancerous. However, for your peace of mind and health, see your doctor for an evaluation. Sooner is better than later on anything that is questionable.
