when i was 16 and gotten them tatoo'd. im 20 now and i want to regrow them over my tatoo. how long will it take for my eyebrows to grow back?

Eyebrow hairs, like most other body hairs, only grow for a certain number of days, 35 to 40 if I remember correctly. After this, they go into a resting phase. This phase is about 100 days for scalp hair, and up to 3 years for eyebrow hair.
So it might take a while. Some actresses, who have had their eyebrows removed for parts, have waited 6 years for theirs go grow back.

yikes! never known of anyone to have done that before!! I wouldn't of thought it'd take that long to grow them back....I'm intrigued to know what have you been doing to keep them from growing up until now? and how long ago was it that you were 16? I expect both factors will make a difference.
I'm also curious as to what made you do this in the first place? (I spose it was one of them things we all do around that age when we have these "fads")
My thrid curiosity is wondering if your tattoo'd eyebrows will still show thru your REAL eyebrows once they've grown?

have you been shaving them since? then you know that it might take about a month or two to grow completely. hopefully, you won't have any funny shaped eyebrows growing back. who let you get the tat done at 16 anyway?! oh well, not trying to be rude. as they grow in, remember to pluck the stray ones out. good luck.

a month and a half....
i think u should remove the tattoo and draw them on... until they grow back.... but wait until the summer to do that so none of u class mates will not see.... well regrowin them over ur tattoo will look pretty pointless....
just a suggestion...

i shaved my eyeborws in august 2006 and they didn't grow all the way back untill November 2006, my mom shaved hers when she was 18 now shes 42 and they still havenet grown back:(

ummm it took my mom 1 1/2...but the hair over the eyebrows make them look a little more neutral. HOPEFULLY their NOT BLACK....thats ugly!!

depending on how long you have been shaving them if it has been a long time they wight not grow back all the way good luck

okay i was watching the tyra show..and they said if you put rogain on your eyebrows (with a cotton ball or something), it'll grow back. but be really really careful though...
