The to young part should be obvious, under 18? Hello???? The to old part is a different matter. At your age I would think that you would someone around the same age as you, but hey, whatever floats your boat. I don't there really are any rules regarding how old to old is, but someone that is more that ten years your senior is probably to old. You never know, an older man may look at like you are to young and childish after you been together for awhile. Someone around your age will generally have the same views and ideas, and inexperience. That would be the kind of person I would think that you should be interested in. Think about it this way, someone your age is someone to grow with, learn with, and experience things with, and older person may not want to do those thing simply because they may have been down that path and a younger person will most likely make you feel like more of a babysitter or parent in the end. Anyways, you are and adult so making the decision for yourself shouldn't really be all that tough.

Look age is just a number as long as they are considered an adult by law. The 16 year old is considered a minor and could get you into trouble, but the rest are considered adults by law and there should be no issues. There are lots of people who get married and age is not considered an issue. As long as the person has a good heart, and is a good person and really does want a future, then there are no problems. If you want a little friendly advice, always find a person who has God in their life first. Don't worry, you can see it. If they have God in their life, your life will be such a good one.

Well...everyone matures differently...but...
You are such a player! LOL!
Come on now, you have to admit that 'talking' to a 45 YEAR OLD when you're just 20 is a bit ludicrous!! He's just over half your age!! THAT IS TOOO OLD!
If the man is old enough to be your father, or grandfather, THAT is to old!
I'd say a general rule of thumb is to 'talk' to guys within 5 to 8 (and that's pushing it) years older than yourself.
As for guys that are younger than you...be careful that you don't 'rob-the-cradle'. I believe 18 is the LEGAL age....but even that may be 'young' for you.
It's best to stick near your own age group (for a VARIETY of reasons).
Make up your mind...who do you want...pick a guy already! LOL!

Half the age of the older person plus 7 equils the lowest age of the younger person. A 20 year old is ok with a 17 year old. A 30 year old with a 22 year old.
Also for every million dollars in the bank and you can subtrace 5 years from your number.

If you are 20, 16 is too young. 45 isn't necessarily too old but it may be difficult since you are both at such different stages in life. It just depends on the chemistry between you and the guy no matter what age.

Don't go to old, or you will for sure live longer. So stop at 45. Never date anyone under 18, for legal reasons. You can date whoever you want. But depending on age difference, society will look at you differently.

I think dating a guy 10 years older than you is too old. I also believe that dating a guy that's 5 years younger than you is too young. but its all based on their maturity level.

Um. If you're 20... I'd stop going up at 30, and stop going down at 18 since anything younger is illegal.
