I've pulled many.First it has to be really loose. Then tie a piece of fishing line around it and make sure it is at the buttom of the tooth where the gum is.Then tell your child that your going to tie it to the door knob. They have seen this on t.v.So now they aren't excepting u to pull it but to go tie it on the door knob. This is when u do one fast yank.It works everytime.Good luck

The best way would be to let it fall out on it's own but if you are worried that your child will choke on it while they are sleeping, what we always do is tie a little piece of floss or string around the tooth then get the kids to look at something or start to tell you something and when they are not thinking about what you are going to do, then just pull it .
Never bothers them at all . The initial idea of having the tooth pulled is more scary to them the the actual having it done . It will usually bleed for a bit but they never complain that it hurts .

I've been through this! Haha. Two ways:

1.) Give your child some really chewy candy, like those gummy coke bottles or airheads or something that might pull the tooth out. Your child will feel it and not swallow it!

2.) Apply some Orajel or another mouth-numbing gel above and around the tooth, wait a minute for it to kick in, then play a game with your child to see how many times he/she can "twist" the tooth all the way around. Count with him/her, and it will probably come out after the second or third "twist."

If it is hanging and the child just doesn't want to pull it the rest of the way you can do a couple of things.

Use paper towel (so it's dry) to get a hold of it and pull up or down depending on it it is the bottom or top.

Tie thread around it and pull the ends. (not together) tie the thread like the beginning of when you tie your shoes and pull the ends so the thread tightens around the tooth and it will come right out.

Or in my daughters case let the childs friend pull it out.

Tell the child to stop playing with it. They won't, but you want to stall them as long as possible. You can tell if the tooth is really wobbly--all you have to do is say, "Show me." Then say it's not quite loose enough yet and stop playing with it. Once you get tired of this game, take a clean cotton hankie to grip the tooth with and pull it out.

Wet down a paper towel and grab the tooth wiggle it back and fourth and side-to-side a couple of times. Then gently twist the tooth and it should disconnect =)

well the child is just afraid of the pain so i suggest you tell them you just want to wiggle it(make up something about the tooth fairy needs to know when to get there or something. depending on the age of the child) then you push it back and forth a few times like you're observing it, then you just yank it out. it sounds worst than it feels believe me. today i find it quite amusing how i used to fall for that trick every time.

this is what i do with my kids. they are little scaredy cats so i cant just pull it. push it to the back to where it starts to hurt a little bit, then hold it there for a few seconds. do that in every which way and it will start to get looser. it really works. thats what the dentist told me to do, cuz otherwise if you just pull it out, it can damage the nerve or something like that. so good luck.

Why would you want to? If it's really lose, tell the child to bite into an apple.

Well, you could pull it out while they're asleep oooor take them to a dentist. A dentist could numb the gum so your kid won't feel a thing.
