Who here loves flying? what is ur fave part of flying??

I love it so much!!! my fave part is takeoff!

Being pampered.
When the flight attendant gives u food, drinks while u r sitting . And u can get them and ask them the silliest questions, like how do I turn on my screen, then how do I turn it off.
Travelling in general is exciting. It makes me feel important. Cuz this is like the only time in my life when I actually have a purpose and a destination ; arriving.
And I also like being in the airport. It's fun. U get to see all those people coming and going and u ask urself questions where they r going and coming.
Also, there is this part when u sit next to attractive people. U get to listen to what they have to say and usually there is a lot to be said, like the reason why they r travelling and so on. It's like a short term relation-ship that's bound to end.But it is fun and exciting.
And no. I hate take off and landing cuz it hurts my ears. I don't know why anybody would like that. This is like the worst part of flying.

I do love flying. My favorite part happens only when I take off on an overcast day. The moment the plane pops up out of the clouds into the sunshine just makes me HAPPY!

Two other experiences were very cool, but pretty rare:
1) I saw the space shuttle coming in through the atmosphere to land. Looked like a fireball (this was one of the successful landings)
2) I watched the northern lights for a couple of hours on a red-eye flight from Seattle to Dulles.

I have a friend who has a license and we rent a small cessena and cruise on nice days. I like everything about it
