First of all, when you give someone a gift, you shouldn't expect anything in return. Otherwise, it's not really a gift. As for your question, you can get him something inexpensive and simple like a card and maybe bake him a cake.

From what you are saying, your boyfriend does not seem to be as sensitive or giving as you are. I realize that you are both 13, but if you gave him a little something on your 1 month anniversary, he should have realized that certain dates(your 1 month ann.) obviously have some meaning for you. Why do you think he isn't going to give you a gift on "V DAY"? Does he just not get, that girls like to be given little tokens, to show that they are special? I know it is a great quality to be a giving person, but, you shouldd not be the one to ALWAYS be giving presents to a boyfriend, that does not know how to be thoughtful enough to give in return. I would give him a card, and that would be enough. I know at 13 there are things to learn in the dating world, but on Valentines Day, he shoul have enough sense to give you something, I am not saying expensive, a single flower, or poem, would be appropriate. I am sure you would love anything he gave you, if it comes from the HEART!

Yes of course....

Just get him a card, maybe a little teddy bear or something, it's only been a month. Consider it a symbol of how much you enjoy having him around and that you care or how much you enjoy hanging out with him.

You really shouldn't expect to get gifts. If you want to give a gift you give it for the joy of giving it, to see the joy the other person will get from it.

and as far as what Nicole up there said... just ignore stupidity like that because that isn't what caring for someone is all about! (I ain't sayin' she's a gold digger, but she ain't messin'...... you get the point!)

If he cares about you, he will appreciate the gift and appreciate you. He may also show it in different ways, not gifts, but the way he treats you or things he does for you

First of all, he's a boy of course he didn't get you anything for a 1 month anniversary! Get him a card but not a lovey dovey kind of card, afterall you are only 13 and it's only been a month. Bake some cookies for him. Because it's valentines he may get you a card as well.
Do not keep buying him things for every month anniversary.

Givea each other a card. That's enough for 13 year olds with less than 6 weeks of 'dating'.
At 13 your still in school and still can't spell. Study harder, get a life and next year you will most likely thinking about another boy.
Don't be stupid and get pregnant.

Something both age appropriate and situation appropriate -- you have only been dating for a short time - nothing serious or heavy. Give him a small box of your favorite candy - you can share.

LOL you don't rejoice a one month anniversary once you're courting. it really is only an excuse to assert "Yay, I have a boyfriend!" have you ever pronounced this and agreed to replace presents? i did not actually rejoice when I were married a month. only pronounced "whats up, we've been married a month now." My husband pronounced "Oh you're properly. No ask your self I have a headache immediately." LOL

I think that you should get him something to show him that you really do care about him. Get him something that is related to what he is interested in.
