The Lindt 85% cocoa bar is THE finest chocolate bar in the world. Also well worth trying are the Hachez 88% and Dolfin 88%. The Belgians make great beer but don't bother with their chocolates. Belgian style chocolate is too sweet for the adult palette and it's flavor is too simple.

Quite simply because the chocolate they use has a far higher cocoa content than elsewhere and fewer additives.
Any chocolate with 70% + cocoa is considered good quality
