Nobody has ever suffered more than Jesus Christ. Jesus' physical pain was far greater than anything most of us will ever be called upon to endure; crucifixion was widely seen as the cruelest method of execution. And His emotional and mental suffering must have been just as intense. The Bible says, "He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering" (Isaiah 53:3).
But far greater than either of these was Christ's spiritual suffering because all the sins of the world were placed on Him, and He endured the punishment and Hell we deserve. He was the divine Son of God, and from all eternity He had known nothing but unbroken fellowship with His Father. But on the cross that fellowship was broken. No wonder He cried out, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Mark 15:34).
Don't ever take lightly what it cost Jesus Christ to purchase your salvation. His physical and emotional sufferings were only indications of a far deeper suffering—the suffering of His soul for you and me.
Why did He do it? He did it for one reason: because He loves us. We don't deserve it, but He loves us anyway. The Bible says, "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins" (1 John 4:10). Have you responded to His love by giving your life to Him?

It's not the suffering Jesus endured that counts ... it's who Jesus is.
All the suffering in the world couldn't redeem mankind if it had been experienced by anyone else.
And even without all the suffering, Jesus' death at the hands of the evil one and his minions, would have been enough to destroy Satan's dominion, as no one, not even the devil, has the right to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only son of God.
Finally, Jesus, his flesh empowered by the Holy Spirit, executed his Father's ancient plan of salvation flawlessly, and God the Father was thoroughly pleased.
Because Jesus is truly man, and he died for us, the grace he obtained by his saving death accrues to the benefit of all mankind.
Because Jesus is truly God, the power and effectiveness of that grace is infinite and eternal.
Since the Holy Trinity is one, both the Father and the Holy Spirit would have, in some way, shared in Jesus' suffering, and experienced in some way, what it was like to die.
So, Christ's atonement truly was God's total self-giving for our salvation.
God bless you too.

Some could only handle one pentacle , others two and some five . Even though the parable of the talents discloses a slothful and wicked one-coiner , many who could only handle one coin could get saved . Pentacles in the Tarot correspond to relationship . A one-coiner can only ' get it ' on his or her conduct being valid . A two coiner can apply the two coins on the marriage relationship . Such two coiners aren't saved automatically they must ' trade ' relative to Atonement and relationship successfully . Such then achieve to their sins ' paid for ' . A person whose abilities allowed it can relate to the concept of Politics , institutions , and even the family , of course their success also is not automatic they must ' trade ' with a view towards Atonement and a larger sphere of relationship . a politician for example has the ability to relate to the national family tree . Clearly any politician isn't automatically noble so , a number of them even though having five pentacles could fail to have their sins paid for . The Pentacles are an eternal continuum factor Jesus uses to pay for peoples sins with . The bankers are an Antichrist factor Jesus has the right to get back his Pentacle from , the interest is the one coiner saved . One coiners can find eternal nobility but to avoid sloth and connected wickedness must believe in a totally fair and square Godhead and act in accord with that belief .

Many have been beaten with the cat of 9 tails, crucified, etc for more than 6 hours. It was common during the time of the Romans. Many had worse tortures at the hands of the Vatican, and priests of other sects. Hitler had some nasty methods. The torture you describe was not as bad as many others.
But I think I was in more pain than him when I had to listen to Bill Clinton's state of the union, and now Hilary Clinton's campaign speeches.

I feel bad that Jesus died so horribly, but why would his god make him suffer so much for the sins of man? Why not have killed him in a faster way instead of making it a big spectacle?
By the way, Jesus had to suffer for only a few hours. Some people are born with horrible diseases and things they cannot help which they must endure for many years. It's easier to feel sorry for them and admire the courage they must have to show on a daily basis, not only to deal with their problem but also the many morons this god made. Some people must courageously deal with taunts their entire life, but Jesus only had to deal with it for a comparatively little while on the cross

1) The bible stories don't even agree on the details of Jesus' death and alleged resurrection.
2) There's no record, outside of the bible stories, that your Jesus ever existed. You'd think that the story of a charismatic young rabbi whose death caused the sky to darken at noon would have made it into all of the contemporary histories -- but no, not a word in any of them. The earliest mention of it is about a generation later. And remember, this was back when news of a comet or the birth of a two-headed calf could literally set the whole world talking.
So, sorry, this tale is not at all convincing.

I wish we had documents to rely on that went back to Jesus's time and not a couple of years afterwards like the current bible.

With a power drill they drill into their ears
,eyes ,through their cheeks into their teeth, rip their arms out then finally kill them.
It goes on every day.
