Those of The True Christian Faith Worship only God.... When Jesus The Christ walked this earth He was both Fully God and fully man. Jesus of Nazareth, The fully man, was not worshiped as God while here on earth.
Jesus acted as a Rabbi and taught his Apostles and close disciples so they would be able to go out and teach others The Word and Will of God. And those taught by the disciples were to act as disciples and teach others and so-on until Jesus returns to reign here for a thousand years.

I certainly hope these help!
Mat 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.
Phl 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth;
Phl 2:11 And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
You are in my prayers.

Matthew 2:11 is a very clear and obvious example. John chapter 1 emphasizes YAHOSHUA's divinity. (His name was NOT "Jesus" - that is an outgrowth of the paganism of churchianity, in opposition to Ex 23:13) There are many other texts, if you really care. In most cases He was emphasizing His humanity, and as His time hadn't come (to die) he did not stress His divinity, for it caused the "Jewish" leaders to attempt to kill Him. John 8:58-9

The world-famous evangelist, Oral Roberts, whose doctrines I do not endorse, once prayed to know how he could know Jesus. He was answered: "READ MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE, JOHN and THE BOOK OF ACTS- three times in thirty days!" He said that he did it on his knees. At the end of the thirty days, he testified, he knew Jesus better than he knew any man on the face of the Earth. In twenty years, I have NEVER met a Christian who told ME this testimony, nor would "go and do likewise" once I told it to them. This is therefore y index for assessing common sense, character, and morality. Whether or not The Bible is true or not is NOT AN ISSUE. The Bible is all about KEYS TO INFINITE POWER. Jesus so-called Christ allegedly CONTROLLED DEATH,and so AROSE FROM THE DEAD. No one can sit inan armchair and gainsay the story, and pass it off as a lie and a fable. THE ISSUE IS: HOW is it POSSIBLE to do what was ascribed to Jesus of Nazareth? If Jesus did not do those things, HOW CAN THEY BE DONE? Jesus is alleged to have died for our sins. This was an extremely painful process. We should at least check out the testimony he left behind. If we cannot do so, whether or not Jesus is a Source of Everlasting Life, we do not DESERVE to achieve Immortality, because we 1. Have no sense of gratitude toward our Creator. 2. Have no sense of diligence, to check things out for ourselves.

Not in the way nor in the sense that we worship him today. A Christian myself, I'm not sure that Jesus was aware that he was "God's only begotten son" or that we was conceived in his mother's womb the way we tell the story. Worshipping Jesus as God is something we Christian developed later on, just a couple of generations after the historic Jesus' event in Galilee, Jeriusalem, the West Bank, and all those palces.

the magi who traveled from far came to worship him as a baby I will find the verse
Matthew 2
The Visit of the Magi
1After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi[a] from the east came to Jerusalem 2and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east[b] and have come to worship him."
10When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. 12And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

Sorry to be in answer to a post above but the magi were pagan and had seen the birth through astrology. This is a wierd bit in the bible that sort of says God cares about the Pagans too and they went home not believing he was God but believing he was special
