I need to make a clear cocktail so I can add blue food coloring.

Vodka and tonic or seltzer... with a squeeze of lime.
White Rum and 7up.
Vodka and 7up.
Instead of blue dye why not add blue curucao? Then you can make an array of blue cocktails.

Mix a clear spirit like gin or vodka with a clear soda like sprite or sierra mist. Blue food coloring should work with green sodas like mountain dew or mello yellow.

If you want something nice, i recommend you the white lady (milk variation). It's not clear, but white, so its possible to color it.
It's very easy, tasty and good looking!
