How did you take your temperature? Was that with an oral thermometer? It is low but lots of things factor in. If you took it orally you cannot have something to eat or drink that is hot or cold 10 minutes before you check your temp. YOu must also be sure you had the thermometer placed well under the tongue all the way back. If this is with an ear thermometer be sure you pull the top or your ear up and back to help straighten out the ear canal for an accurate reading. Also if you have a lot of wax in your ear that can cause an inaccurate reading as the waves would bounce off the wax instead of bouncing off the ear drum.

98.6 is the average.. some may be lower.. some may be higher.
make sure you take multiple temp readings different times of the day the body temp does change with movement.. eating.. being outside.. drinking fluids... urination.. so on.
and don't just use one tempurature taking device... mouth is the usual place to take the temp. you should be running around 98.
95 is a wee low.. but remember those elements.
when one is to take a body temp. you are to relax for 15 minutes in a comfortable position.
such when you are taking blood pressure readings.
:D

a normal body temp can range from 96 to sometimes 101. It depends on age, weight, size, activity. track your temp for awhile and you'll see what is normal for you. since you're feeling sick, see your MD for a check up, it could be related to a thyroid condition and a simple blood test could detect this, they have medication to correct the problem simply. RN. hope this helps.

That reading is very low. Was it an oral or axillary (underarm) temperature? If axillary, you can add 1 degree making it 96.72, still low though.
Put on something warm and take it again. Not sure I believe your thermometer.
