Why do some thing like that? Can't you wait until you know for sure if things are going to work out? You may not want to be it the relation ship if its that easy to sleep with someone else. But mostly I'd say no it isn't cheating..but to the one whom you are on a break with yes it is..

What does "a break" mean? If you are having sex with someone else a week after you breakup, you didn't love the other person anyway. Stay out of her life and let her find someone faithful and who loves her.

It all depends on what the agreement was, for the break that you decided upon.
If you agreed to see other people, then No, its not cheating, it was probably expected.
If you did not agree to see other people, and just wanted a break and spend some time apart, then Yes, it is cheating...

It depends on the way ur relationship stands with the former parnter.If it has broken up, then u hav every right to move on in ur life, else its cheating him or her.
U place urself in the same position dear! If u r away for a few days and ur partner with whom u had been head over heels in love, goes for sex with someone else, how ud u like that??If he or she can do this in ur ignorance, then u r not his/her partner for sure! Thats cheating right?? I hope this does not happen with u or anyone!!

Yes-unless that is your understanding that you can have sex with others while you are on a break for a couple of days. Another way to see if it is is to see if you feel comfortable walking around with that person in front of your bf/gf.

in my eyes it is...your supposed to be with this person you supposedly care alot about and jus because you have a fight n take a few days to cool down doesnt mean its ok to go and sleep with other people ...i see it as if you need to cheat then you really dont want to be with the person you are with in the first place so y cheat just break up and meet new people

I think if you break up and a day or two or even a week later you're sleeping with someone else there's a problem.
It's not cheating but it is tacky.

If the two of you are in a cooling off period or on a break to reevaluate your relationship then yes, it is considered cheating because that is basically saying that the relationship is not truly worth committing to.

If you have broken up and don't know if you are getting back together or not, it is not cheating. If you KNOW you are getting back together you should not have sex with someone else.
