Razor burn is an irritation of the skin caused by shaving with a razor; either at sensitive areas or not using proper technique. It appears as a mild rash and usually disappears after a few hours to a few days, depending on severity. In severe cases, razor burn can also be accompanied by razor bumps, where the area around shaved hairs get raised red welts or infected pustules.
Razor burn is a common problem, especially among those who shave coarse hairs on areas with sensitive skin like the bikini line, underarms, chest, and beard.
Preventive measures
Ways to prevent razor burn include:
keeping the face moist using a shaving brush and lather;
using a moisturising shaving gel;
shaving in the direction of the hair growth;
resisting the urge to shave too closely;
applying minimal pressure;
avoiding scratching or irritation after shaving;
avoiding irritating products on the shaved area (colognes, perfumes, etc.);
using an aftershave cream with aloe vera or other emollients;
use a disposable razor cleaning tool, such as Razor Gator, to lower bacteria present on the razor head;
Healing Razor Burn
Ways to heal razor burn include:
applying witch hazel, mild salicylic acid solutions
applying aloe vera gel, cold water
I PERSONALLY USED THE CREAMS BUT IT BURNT MY SKIN. I PREFER THE DISPOSABLE RAZOR, SAFE AND CLEAN. WAXING IS FOR ONLY THE VERY BRAVE.

After shaving apply after shave balm (it may sting for a few seconds, but it will quickly close your skin pores and reduce the amount of redness). After that, sprinkle some talcum powder over your genital area for a cool, smooth feeling.

try letting it grow, (this may sound funny but it may work)
when you shower, use conditioner there' to make the area softer, then after about a week or so, try shaving using cold water to clean the blade.
If you are using an electric shaver same thing except don't use the water to rinse the blade but use a lotion with aloe in it....

I would first ask you what is the need for doing that? Are you doing it because others do it or is there a reason like you parade around showing that area? That hair was put there for a reason.

Get coochy cream. Normally sold threw adult novelty companies. I swear by it. It does eliminate the red rashy bump and leaves you feeling silky smooth! www.foryourpleasure.com is one site that sells it. You might be able to get it on ebay.

If you stop the razor from dropping on the ground. Then it won't make your legs like that.
